General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of Wädi Taxi GmbH

Wädi Taxi Service & Taxi Center

We are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We strive to provide our services permanently. Any disruptions will be fixed as soon as possible. However, this does not constitute a right to uninterrupted availability. The legal transport contract / passenger transport order is concluded with Wädi Taxi GmbH or one of our contract drivers.

Orders & Reservations

By confirming the GTC in online order forms, you enter into a binding order placement.

Telephone taxi orders for the same day can be canceled or rescheduled free of charge up to 2 hours before the agreed time. Reservations for taxi, business taxi, and limousine service can be canceled/rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed appointment. Event transfer reservations with multiple vehicles can be canceled/rescheduled free of charge up to 48 hours before the agreed appointment. Bookings that are not canceled will be charged, and liability is exclusively limited to the amount of the booking for the respective trip.

No-Show Situation

If a customer is not punctually at the agreed meeting point, Wädi Taxi waits 5 minutes free of charge. From the 6th minute, the taximeter is turned on and the waiting time must be charged. Wädi Taxi waits a maximum of 15 minutes. If the customer does not appear without prior timely cancellation, the waiting time and the amount of the booking will be charged.

Waiting time is charged in accordance with the provisions of the applicable Taxi Act at CHF 0.80 per minute for taxis and CHF 1.33 per minute for limousines..

Financial

The transportation fee is calculated using the taximeter in the vehicle, or price list for flat-rate trips, according to the offer or previously agreed flat rate. The trips are payable immediately.

Accounting

For companies, schools, institutions, and standing orders, there is the option of booking on account.

Payment Default

In case of ongoing payment default, Wädi Taxi GmbH reserves the right to charge default interest. For standing orders with payment default, Wädi Taxi GmbH reserves the right to suspend the orders until the outstanding debt is paid in full.

Personal data is only processed and passed on to contract drivers to the extent necessary for order processing.

Personnel

Wädi Taxi GmbH ensures that all employees have all necessary official permits and training. Contract drivers: Wädi Taxi GmbH ensures, within its possibilities, that our independent contract partner drivers have all official permits and provide a safe service.

Customer Obligations and Liability

The customer is obliged to provide Wädi Taxi GmbH with their correct address and contact details for reservations / standing orders on account. The same applies to the required information about passengers, times, pickup location, and destination necessary for providing the service. In case of changes before the agreed appointment, Wädi Taxi GmbH must be informed immediately. If the customer fails to provide immediate notification, they are fully liable for damages that could have been avoided with timely notification.

The customer is obliged, also for their accompanying passengers, not to misuse the services of Wädi Taxi GmbH and not to hinder the fulfillment of the service by Wädi Taxi GmbH. In particular:

  • The customer is obliged to follow the instructions of the driver.
  • Strictly observe the smoking ban in the vehicle
  • Pay the owed fare immediately at the destination
  • Not cause any damage to the vehicle or the infrastructure of Wädi Taxi GmbH
  • Refrain from any improper handling
  • Not violate criminal law provisions
  • Not carry illegal items such as weapons, narcotics, drugs, stolen goods, etc.
  • Not contaminate the vehicle; the customer is fully liable for professional cleaning in case of contamination. The customer is fully liable for professional cleaning and disinfection of the interior in case of bodily excretions / vomit.

If a customer and/or their passengers violate these aforementioned obligations, Wädi Taxi GmbH is entitled to take all necessary measures to eliminate the misuse at the customer's expense. This includes any repair and cleaning work and, depending on the situation, the necessary measures for disinfection work. In the case of gross contamination or massive damage to the vehicle and infrastructure of Wädi Taxi GmbH, in addition to the costs for cleaning and/or repair, the income lost due to work stoppage can also be charged.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction: 8810 Horgen

Updates

Wädi Taxi GmbH reserves the right to update the GTC / disclaimer at any time and to adapt it to any new legal requirements. These GTC come into force on May 1, 2025, and replace the previous GTC.
